How To: Inquiring on a Location (RF-04-07)

Overview

This selection is used to view all items at a specific location. The items and their quantities and statuses appears display, and you can print a paper copy of the information, if desired.

Step-by-Step

1. Scan or enter the locator number in the ‘Locator’ field. The results will display.

   The quantities that display are as follows:
   

   Status

   Description
   Avl (Available)

   An item with this status is available for sale.
   Cmt (Committed)

   This status is automatically assigned by Order Processing to an item that is committed to a specific customer order. It cannot be modified.
   Flr (Floor)

   An item with this status is available for sale as a floor model item. To sell an item with this status, you must first select ‘Floor’ from the ‘Type’ drop-down list on the POS Entry Detail tab.
   Dmg (Damaged)

   An item with this status is available for sale as a floor model item. To sell an item with this status, you must first select ‘Floor’ from the ‘Type’ drop-down list on the POS Entry Detail tab.
   Oth (Others)

   This status is used when you want to know where an item is, but you don’t want it available for sale.
   OnHand

   This status displays the total quantity of all statuses.
