Step-by-Step
Scenario: A customer wants to purchase all merchandise on a Quote Ticket that was created for them last week.
- Select ‘RQ–Maint/Accept Quote’ from the Type of Sale drop-down menu.
- Enter the Quote Number or use the Search button to find the customer’s quote.
- Click OK.
- The Release Quote window appears. First, select the type of transaction you want to convert the quote to. The default setting is Delayed Delivery (DD).
- Click the Accept button.
- The ticket appears. In this example, notice that ‘DD-To be Delivered’ appears in the Type of Sale field, meaning that the Quote Ticket has been converted to a Delayed Delivery ticket.
- The transaction has the same Order Number as the original Quote Ticket.
- Verify that the transaction information is correct, and make any changes if necessary.
- If you are converting the Quote Ticket into a Delayed Delivery (DD) transaction, you will need to enter a Delivery Date and click Accept.
- When you are finished, click the Done button. Complete the transaction using standard procedures.
