How To: Maintaining Warranty Coverage on an Order (02-08-02)
Overview
This tutorial describes how to modify warranty coverage in Order Maintenance. If you need to add a new warranty to an order, first complete the steps described in the ‘Adding a Line to an Order’ tutorial and then complete the steps in this tutorial.

Step-by-Step
- Access an order and lock it using the steps described in the ‘Adding a Line to an Order’ tutorial.
- On the Detail tab, click a warranty line to modify.(**WARRANTY** appears in the Serial # field).
- The Line Maintenance box, appears. Click the Warranty Coverage button to modify the items that are covered by this warranty or to add new items to the warranty coverage.
- The Warranty Coverage box appears. Click the Cover checkbox next to the items that are being covered by this warranty. Uncheck this box for any items that should be removed from this warranty coverage.
- Click Ok.
- Click Close on the Line Maintenance box.
- Verify that the changes are correctly reflected on the Detail tab.
