Introduction: Order Upload: Tyler to Dispatch Track (02-08-12-05)

Overview

This selection is used to create the data file that will be emailed to Dispatch Track. When you finish selecting the criteria for the file (and click OK), the file is downloaded to your computer. When the file includes orders from all warehouses/service branches, the file is named ‘dispatchtrack.txt’. When the upload file contains orders from only one warehouse, the Warehouse/Branch ID is appended to the front of the filename (e.g. ‘WHS1_dispatchtrack.txt’).

Special Notes

• This selection can be run at any time and the created file can be emailed to Dispatch Track at any time.
• Non-inventory and non-sale branches will not display as options in the ‘Warehouse or Service Branch’ field. These branches will also not be included in the data file when ‘All’ is selected.
• If desired, a cron job can be set up to run this selection automatically and “behind the scenes” at specified times during the day. Contact Tyler for more information on this feature.
