Overview
This tutorial describes how to run the Commission Inquiry.
Fields
NOTE: When in Summary view, only the Salesperson, Plan, Trans Date, Group Sales, Profit, GM%, Commission, Spiff1, and Spiff2 columns display information.

Salesperson
This column displays the salespeople who have earned commissions during the selected date range.
Plan
This column displays the commission plan the salesperson is assigned to. If the sales person is not assigned to a commission plan, the company’s default plan ‘?’ will be used.
Trans Date
When in Detail view, this column displays the date that each of the salesperson’s transactions took place.
NOTE: This information is not visible in Summary view.
Brch
When in Detail view, this column displays the branch where each of the salesperson’s transactions took place.
NOTE: This information is not visible in Summary view.
Trans #
When in Detail view, this column displays the transaction number for each of the salesperson’s transactions.
Double click on the transaction number to open the details of the transaction.
NOTE: This information is not visible in Summary view.
Type
When in Detail view, this column displays the transaction type for each of the salesperson’s transactions.
NOTE: This information is not visible in Summary view.
Group
When in Detail view, this column displays the group number assigned to the products sold for each of the salesperson’s transactions.
Group Sales
When in Summary view, this column displays the total sales dollars earned by the salesperson.
When in Detail view, this column displays the total sales dollars earned, broken down by transaction number and group.
Profit
When in Detail view, this column displays the total profit dollars earned, broken down by transaction number and group.
NOTE: This information is not visible in Summary view.
GM%
When in Summary view, this column displays the total gross margin % for each salesperson.
When in Detail view, this column displays the total gross margin %, broken down by transaction number and group.
Rate
When in Detail view, this column displays the rate that was used to calculate commissions for each transaction and group.
NOTE: This information is not visible in Summary view.
Commission
When in Summary view, this column displays the total commission the salesperson has earned over the selected date range.
When in Detail view, this column displays the total commission earned, broken down by transaction number and group.
Spiff1
When in Summary view, this column displays total dollar amount of regular spiffs that were paid out over the selected date.
When in Detail view, this column displays total dollar amount of regular spiffs that were paid out, broken down by transaction number and group.
Spiff2
When in Summary view, this column displays total dollar amount of promo spiffs that were paid out over the selected date range.
When in Detail view, this column displays total dollar amount of promo spiffs that were paid out, broken down by transaction number and group.
Cust Phone
When in Detail view, this column displays the customer phone number for each of the salesperson’s transactions.
NOTE: This information is not visible in Summary view.
Customer
When in Detail view, this column displays the customer name for each of the salesperson’s transactions.
NOTE: This information is not visible in Summary view.
