Introduction: Phase List Maintenance (02-08-90-12)
Overview
This selection is used to define the options for the Phase list, which appears as a drop-down list on the Detail tab of Point of Sale Entry (02-02) and Order Maintenance (02-08-02).
The Phase list can be used for a number of different purposes depending on your specific company needs. For example, delivery of a home entertainment center is broken down in different phases such as wiring and installation. When an order is entered in POS, you would select a phase for some or all of the items added to the transaction. When GUI invoices and Packing Sheets are printed, they will be organized by phase so that delivery personnel can quickly see when each item needs to be delivered to the customer’s residence.
