How To: Searching for an A/R Account Number (12-62)

Overview

This selection is used to search for an A/R account number using the customer’s name or demographic information.

Step-by-Step

IMPORTANT: All search criteria fields (at the top of the screen) are optional. The more information you enter, the more narrowed the search results will be.

  1. In the ‘Company/Last Name’ field, enter all or part of a company name or customer last name to narrow the results by.

  1. In the ‘First Name’ field, enter all or part of a customer’s first name.

  1. To narrow the search using a keyword, select the ‘Keyword’ radio button and enter the keyword in the respective field. To search by phone number, select the ‘Phone #’ radio button and enter all or part of the phone number in the respective field.
    NOTE: To search for a Tax ID number, select the ‘Keyword’ radio button and enter the Tax ID number in the respective field.

  1. To narrow the search by account number, select the ‘Account #’ radio button and enter all or part of the account number in the respective field. To search by customer number, select the ‘Customer #’ radio button and enter all or part of the customer number in the respective field.

  1. In the ‘Date Opened From’ field, enter the date the A/R account was opened or select it from the calendar. Leave the field blank to begin the inquiry with the first date on file.

  1. In the ‘Date Opened To’ field, enter the last date the A/R account was opened or select it from the calendar. Leave the field blank to begin the inquiry with the last date on file.

  1. Click ‘Refresh’ to load the first twenty-five (25) results.
    • Click ‘More’ to load the next twenty-five (25) results. Once all the results are loaded, the ‘More’ button will no longer appear.

  1. Double-click on a result to display additional account information for the customer or company.
