How To: Attaching a Transfer Line to a Service Workorder Line (03-11-01)

Overview

When creating a new transfer, you can attach a line to an open line on a Service workorder, reserving the item for that workorder/customer.

Step-by-Step

  1. Enter “WO” in the ‘Item Number’ field. A new window opens.

  1. In the ‘Order #’ field, enter the Service workorder to which the transfer line is being attached.
    NOTE: The Service Branch for the workorder line must be the same as the Inbound Branch (To Branch) for this transfer.

  1. In the ‘Seq#’ field, enter the line number on the workorder to which the transfer line is being attached.

  1. Click ‘Attach.’

  1. Click the ‘Accept’ box to add the item to the transfer.

  1. ‘TAG W/O Order# XXXXXX Seq #XXX’ appears underneath the line, indicating that it is attached to a workorder.
