How To: Attaching a Transfer Line to a Service Workorder Line (03-11-01)
Overview
When creating a new transfer, you can attach a line to an open line on a Service workorder, reserving the item for that workorder/customer.
Step-by-Step
- Enter “WO” in the ‘Item Number’ field. A new window opens.
- In the ‘Order #’ field, enter the Service workorder to which the transfer line is being attached.
NOTE: The Service Branch for the workorder line must be the same as the Inbound Branch (To Branch) for this transfer.
- In the ‘Seq#’ field, enter the line number on the workorder to which the transfer line is being attached.
- Click ‘Attach.’
- Click the ‘Accept’ box to add the item to the transfer.
- ‘TAG W/O Order# XXXXXX Seq #XXX’ appears underneath the line, indicating that it is attached to a workorder.
