How To: Counting Floor Quantities with an RF Scanner (RF-04-05)

Overview

This selection is used to count Floor Model quantities with an RF Scanner.

Step-by-Step

  1. At the ‘Qty Entry Mode’ prompt:
    1. Enter “1” if you want to scan each item to record the quantity (e.g. If you have three of the same item, you will scan each of the three items separately or scan the same item three times).
    2. Enter “2” if you want to scan the item once and then enter the quantity that you want to record.

  1. In the ‘Item#’ field, scan the barcode or enter the item number. You can also scan the UPC Number if it has been set up in Field 35 of Inventory Master Inq/Maint (03-01).

  1. In the ‘Qty’ field, enter the Floor Model quantity for this item.

  1. Repeat Steps 2-3 until you are finished counting Floor Model quantities.
