How To: Setting Up Direct Deposit (10-20)
Overview
This tutorial describes how to set up direct deposit for an employee in Employee Master/Special/Deduction (10-20).
Step-by-Step
- Click the ‘Direct Deposit’ button at the bottom of the screen.
NOTE: To use this feature, the Direct Deposit application must be licensed, and the ‘Destination Code’ and ‘Destination Name’ fields must be set up in the Direct Deposit Preferences selection (10-90-02).
- Select ‘Yes’ from the ‘Direct Deposit’ drop-down list.
- In the ‘Bank Routing Number’ field, enter the Routing Number for the bank account that the employee is using for direct deposit.
- In the ‘Bank Account Number’ field, enter the Account Number for the bank account that the employee is using for direct deposit.
- From the ‘Checking/Savings’ drop-down list:
- Select ‘Checking’ if this is checking account.
- Select ‘Savings’ if this is a savings account.
- Click the ‘Done’ button.
