How To: Setting Up Direct Deposit (10-20)

Overview

This tutorial describes how to set up direct deposit for an employee in Employee Master/Special/Deduction (10-20).

Step-by-Step

  1. Click the ‘Direct Deposit’ button at the bottom of the screen.
    NOTE: To use this feature, the Direct Deposit application must be licensed, and the ‘Destination Code’ and ‘Destination Name’ fields must be set up in the Direct Deposit Preferences selection (10-90-02).

  1. Select ‘Yes’ from the ‘Direct Deposit’ drop-down list.

  1. In the ‘Bank Routing Number’ field, enter the Routing Number for the bank account that the employee is using for direct deposit.

  1. In the ‘Bank Account Number’ field, enter the Account Number for the bank account that the employee is using for direct deposit.

  1. From the ‘Checking/Savings’ drop-down list:
    1. Select ‘Checking’ if this is checking account.
    2. Select ‘Savings’ if this is a savings account.

  1. Click the ‘Done’ button.
