How To: Running the Unpaid Bills Report (11-21)

Overview

This selection is used to print a report of all unpaid bills as of a specified invoice due date.

You can print the report for a single vendor, a range of vendors, or all vendors.

Step-by-Step

  1. In the ‘Enter From Vendor’ field, enter a vendor to start the report with. Leave the field blank to start the report with the first vendor on file.

  1. In the ‘Enter To Vendor’ field, enter a vendor to end the report with. Leave the field blank to end the report with the last vendor on file.

  1. In the ‘Outstanding bills thru Due Date’ field, enter an invoice due date (MMDDYY) or select it from the calendar. All unpaid invoices (bills) with an invoice due date on or before the entered date will be included on the report.

  1. The ‘For Corporation’ field only displays if your company is Multi-Corp. and the the ‘Multiple Corporation’ prompt is set to ‘Y’ in A/P General Preferences (11-90-01). To include a single corporation, enter it in this field. Press Tab to include all corporations.

  1. Click ‘Refresh.’ Vendors meeting the select criteria display.

  1. Click the ‘Print’ button to print a paper or digital copy of the report
    (optional).
    1. At the ‘Do you want to include alternate row highlighting on the report?’ prompt:
      1. Click ‘Yes’ and every other row will print on a darker background.
      2. Click ‘No’ and all lines will print on a white background. This option saves ink, but the report is more difficult to read.
    2. At the ‘Select Printer’ prompt, enter the ID of a physical printer, or enter “PDF” to save the report to a PDF file. If printing to PDF, accept or modify the filename and click ‘Ok.’
      IMPORTANT: When printing to PDF, you must have a ‘Accounts Payables’ folder specified in Company PDF/Export Directory (30-04) or By Term PDF/Export Directory (30-05) in order for the PDF to save successfully to your computer.

  1. Click ‘Export’ to open the report directly in Excel and also save it to your computer (optional).
    IMPORTANT: You must have a ‘Accounts Payables’ folder specified in Company PDF/Export Directory (30-04) or By Term PDF/Export Directory (30-05) in order for the report to open correctly in Excel and successfully save to your computer.
