How To: Running the Brand Performance by Branch Report (05-07)

Overview

This report is used to view a brand’s performance for a specified branch, region, or for the entire company. You can choose to see a summary report by brand or a detail report by department.

You can view the information on the screen, print a paper copy, or download the report to your computer.

Special Notes

  • If a brand’s gross margins do not fall within the range specified in the Set Preferences selection (05-60), an asterisk (*) appears in the EXC column.
  • This report can only be printed to a laser printer or PDF file.
  • You can sort a report column by clicking on the Column Heading.
  • You can move a report column by clicking on the Column Heading and dragging to the desired location.

Step-by-Step

  1. From the ‘Region’ drop-down menu, select a region for the report. Select ‘All’ to include data from all regions on the report.
    NOTE: If territories and/or markets are set up in 30-02-06, you can select one from this list instead of selecting a region.

  1. Specify whether the report should include Written or Delivered Sales.
    NOTE: This option only displays if there are Written Sales files on your system.

  1. To exclude brands/departments that have both zero Month to Date and zero Year to Date sales, check the ‘Exclude Zero Sales with no Curr Inventory’ box.

  1. Click ‘Refresh’ and the report results appear.
    • Any time you change the report criteria, you will need to click Refresh to update the report results.

  1. Click ‘Summary by Brand’ to display a summary report that is organized by brand. Click ‘Detail by Dept’ to view a version broken down by department.

  1. Click the Company, Region, or Branch tab to view the brand/department information broken down by branch, region, or company, respectively.

  1. Click the ‘Print’ to print a paper copy of the report (optional). At the prompt, enter the ID of a physical printer, or enter “PDF” to save the report to a PDF file. If printing to a PDF, accept the pre-prompted save location on your computer, or enter a new one.

  1. Click ‘Export Excel’ (optional) to view the report in Excel.
