How To: Running the GUI Media Sales Stats Report (05-10-06)

Overview

This selection is used to view the Media Statistics for your company.

Step-by-Step

  1. From the ‘Region’ drop-down menu, select a region for the report. Select ‘All’ to include data from all regions on the report.

  1. In the ‘From’ and ‘To’ fields, enter a date range for the report or select it from the calendar.

  1. Click Refresh and the report results appear.
    • Whenever the search criteria is changes, you must click the Refresh button to update the results.

    Notice the four tabs at the bottom of the screen:

    This tab shows summary information for each media type in each region. Transactions where a media type was not selected from the ‘Media’ drop-down list in POS Entry or Order Maintenance are categorized as ‘No Match.’

    Department

    This tab breaks each media type down by department for each region.

    Store

    This tab breaks down each media type by store for each region.

    Detail

    This tab includes detailed information about each transaction for the entered date range.

  1. Click Print to print a paper copy of the information on the screen (the selected tab only). At the prompt, enter the ID of a physical printer, or enter “PDF” to save the report to a PDF file. If printing to a PDF, accept the pre-prompted save location on your computer, or enter a new one.

  1. Click Export Detail File to download the report to your computer (optional). Accept the pre-prompted save location, or enter a new one. Then click Ok.
    IMPORTANT: Since the exported file is tab delimited, save it with a ‘.txt’ extension.
