Introduction: Month by Month Sales by Item (05-36)

Overview

This selection is used to view and/or print a sales history report (written or delivered sales) for the last thirteen months. The report can be run for a specific brand or a range of brands, and a specific product type or range of product types. Additionally, you can filter the information by Priority Flag.

If you run this selection on a Non-POS terminal, the report includes figures for all branches. If the selection is run from a POS terminal, the report only includes figures for the branch assigned to the terminal through System File Management (30-01).

The report shows onhand, committed and onorder values, which is useful for determining order quantities. This selection is also helpful in determining product lines that should be expanded or removed from the mix.

The sales history on this report is only as current as the updated sales transactions, and the onhand and committed values are as current as the entered and shipped customer orders. The onorder values are as current as the received and updated purchase orders.

Special Notes

• This report can only be printed on a laser printer or directly to a PDF file.
• You can sort a column by clicking on the Column Heading.
• You can move a column by clicking on the Column Heading and dragging to the desired location.
