How To: Adding Warranty Item Numbers (06-02-02)

Overview

This tutorial describes how to add new warranty item numbers.

  1. Click the ‘Add’ button.

  1. In the ‘Item Number’ field, enter the item number of a warranty item.
    NOTE: The item must be set up in Inventory Master Inq/Maint (03-01).

  1. If the warranty code for the entered item includes an ‘Other Warranty Duration’ on a component, enter the Component Code in the ‘Comp Code’ field, which is a maximum of 1 character.

  1. Click ‘Add.’

  1. Repeat steps 2-4 until all warranty item numbers are added.

  1. Click ‘Close’ to return to the Warranty Item Numbers screen.
