How To: Setting Up a Brand (05-63)

Overview

This selection is used to set up brands for your company.

Please refer to the ‘What you need to know about Brands’ section of the Startup Implementation and Procedures Manual for more information about brands and how to use them in Tyler.

Special Notes

• If a vendor is assigned to a brand in the Brand/Vendor Cross Reference selection (04-54-90-01), it appears in the ‘Vendor’ column on this screen. The same vendor can be attached to multiple brands.
• You can sort a column by clicking on the Column Heading.

Step-by-Step

1. Click the New button.

2. Enter the Brand Code in the Brand field.

3. In the Description field, enter a description for this brand.

4. Press the Enter key on your keyboard.

5. Repeat steps 2-4 until all brands are set up.

6. Click Ok.

7. To change the description of an existing brand, click the brand in the listing, modify the description, and click Ok.
