Overview
This selection is used to set up preferences for the Today’s Sales (05-18) reports:
- Today’s Sales by Store (05-18-01)
- Today’s Sales by Store/Salesperson (05-18-02)
- Today’s Sales by Store/Department (05-18-03)
- Today’s Sales by Store/Product Type (05-18-04)

Today’s Sales-1 Tab
The preferences on this tab apply only to the Today’s Sales by Store selection.

POS terminal only display for assigned Branch?
Check this box and you can only run the report for the branch assigned to the terminal in System File Management (30-01).
Display profit?
Check this box to include the ‘Profit’ column on the report.
Display Warranty sales as a separate column?
Check this box and warranty sales are totaled and displayed in separate column.
Display Warranty % of Sales?
Check this box to include the ‘Warranty %’ column, which shows the percentage of all sales that were warranty items.
Product Type Columns
Using the preferences below, you can create up to eight separate columns on the report that include sales figures for one or more product types. First, specify the product type(s) that you want to include and then enter a customized title for the column. Next, determine whether the sales amounts should display as a dollar figure or as a percentage of all sales. Example: You could create a column that displays sales for Blu-Ray Players only. Or you could create a column that displays sales for both Blu-Ray Players and HDTVs.
Prod Types (XXX, YYY)
Enter the product type(s) to include for the column. If you want to include more than one product type, separate the entries with a comma.
Title
Enter a title for the column. To print the title on two lines, enter a “^” (carat symbol) at the spot where the line break is to occur.

Click the ‘%’ radio button to display the sales figures as a percentage of all sales.
Click the ‘$’ radio button to display the sales figures as a dollar amount.
NOTE: If you want to include the percentage of all sales and the dollar amount for the same product types, you need to create two separate columns.
