How To: Printing Labels for a Range of Orders (21-04)
Overview
This tutorial describes how to print labels for a range of orders.
Step-by-Step
- At the Enter Label Type prompt, enter “1” if you want to use 4-inch labels that print three across a page. Enter “2” if you want to use 4-inch laser labels that print two across a page.
- At the Enter Selection prompt, enter “2” for the Print a range of picked orders option.
- In the Enter Beginning Order field, enter the order number to start the label print with. Press the Tab key and the label print begins with the first order on file that meets the criteria for label printing.
- In the Enter Ending Order field, enter the order number to end the label print with. Press the Tab key and the label print ends with the last order on file that meets the criteria for label printing.
- At the 1 or 2 Labels Per Qty Ordered prompt, enter “1” to print a single label for each item. Enter “2” to print two labels for each item.
- The Load the Labels to the Printer & Tab prompt appears to remind you to load the printer with the correct label stock or paper (for laser printing) before continuing. Press Tab to continue.
- Enter a Printer ID for the labels.
- At the Print Test Pattern? prompt, enter “Y” to print a test label with generic data.
- If the labels printed correctly, enter “Y” at the Did the Labels Print Correctly? prompt. The items are removed from the label print file at this point. If you need to reprint the labels, enter “N.”
