How To: Viewing the Exception Report (21-14)

Overview

This selection is used to view/print orders that qualify for a route, but have issues that are keeping them from being successfully scheduled (e.g. Delivery Date has passed, order has no Delivery Date, etc.)

Step-by-Step

  1. Specify whether you want to view exceptions for Order Processing Orders (‘OP Exceptions’) or Service Work Orders (‘WK Exceptions’).

  1. Click Run.

  1. A window opens displaying the message ‘You can print the exceptions or view/maintain on the screen:’
    1. Click Print to print a copy of the exception information. Then enter the ID of a valid physical printer or spooler. At this point, the selection closes.
    2. Click Screen to view the information on the screen.

  1. All orders with exceptions now appear. Click on an individual line to open the order in the Scheduler to attempt to resolve the issue. When you exit the scheduler, you are returned to this screen. If the problem was resolved, the order is removed from the listing.
    • You can sort the columns by clicking on the column headings.

  1. Click Close to exit the selection.
