Introduction: Schedule Header Days (21-20)

Overview

This selection is used to view/modify existing schedules for your routes. Here you can lock a route for a specific day or days and also modify the available time (Stops, Minutes) for a route for a specific day or days.

Locked Route

If you need to shut down a route for a short period of time (e.g. driver is ill), you can lock it with this selection. No deliveries/service can be scheduled for the route on the day(s) that it is locked. This allows you to restrict a route without making permanent changes in Route Master Maint (21-90-21).

Stop Changes

Sometimes you might need to temporarily change the available time for a route. By changing the stop maximums in this selection, you can achieve this without modifying the default route information in Route Master Maint. Changes to the stops are automatically logged by the system so you can view details of the modifications at a later time.

Date Addition

With this selection, you can add a route schedule for a day that is normally not scheduled. A route might not be scheduled for a particular day because it does not work/run on that day of the week (e.g. Sunday) or because it is for a future date that is after the last schedule that has been created by Start of Day. ‘Not scheduled’ appears in the field to the right of ‘Scheduled Stops’ column for all routes that are not scheduled on the selected date.
