Field Definitions: Schedule Header Days (21-20)

Overview

Below are descriptions of each field on the Schedule Header Days screen.

Main Screen/View by Route Screen

Date
The date for the displayed schedule appears in this field. You can change it by clicking on the Calendar icon, by using the green arrow keys, or by entering a new date in the field.

Route
This is the Route Name as set up in Route Master Maint. (21-90-21).

Route Description
This is the Route Description as set up in Route Master Maint.

Scheduled
Stops
Volume
The amount of scheduled time (stops/minutes) and volume (if applicable) for the specified date and route appears in the respective columns of this field.

“Blank” Column
This is a column reserved for miscellaneous messages. For example if the route is locked, inactive, or not scheduled for the day, those respective statuses will appear in this column.

First AM
Max
Avail
If you are using First AM/First PM/Late stops, the maximum time allowed for First AM stops on this route appears in the ‘Max’ column of this field. The available time (based on already scheduled deliveries/services) for the First AM stops on this route appears in the ‘Avail’ column.

NOTE: If you are not using First AM/First PM/Late stops, this field does not appear on the screen.

First PM
Max
Avail
If you are using First AM/First PM/Late stops, the maximum time allowed for First PM stops on this route appears in the ‘Max’ column of this field. The available time (based on already scheduled deliveries/services) for the First PM stops on this route appears in the ‘Avail’ column.

NOTE: If you are not using First AM/First PM/Late stops, this field does not appear on the screen.

Avail
If you are using First AM/First PM/Late stops, the maximum time allowed for Late stops on this route appears in the ‘Max’ column of this field. The available time (based on already scheduled deliveries/services) for the Late stops on this route appears in the ‘Avail’ column.

NOTE: If you are not using First AM/First PM/Late stops, this field does not appear on the screen.

If you are using First AM/First PM/Late stops, the maximum time allowed for stops other than First AM/First PM/Late stops on this route appears in the ‘Max’ column of this field. The available time (based on already scheduled deliveries/services) for Other stops on this route appears in the ‘Avail’ column.

NOTE: If you are not using First AM/First PM/Late stops, this field does not appear on the screen.

The maximum time allowed for all stops on this route appears in the ‘Max’ column of this field. The available time (based on already scheduled deliveries/services) for all stops on this route appears in the ‘Avail’ column.

NOTE: This field only displays if you are not using First AM/First PM/Late stops.

Volume

Avail
The maximum volume allowed for all stops on this route appears in the ‘Max’ column of this field. The available volume (based on already scheduled deliveries/services) for all stops on this route appears in the ‘Avail’ column.

NOTE: If you are not using Volume, this field does not appear on the screen.

Change Stops Screen

Stop Maintenance

Volume Maximum
Displays the current maximum volume for the route. If necessary, you can modify the amount (for this date only).

NOTE: If you are not using Volume, this field does not appear on the screen.

Stop Name
The Stop Names for all stops on this route appear in this column.

Stop Maximum
The maximum time (stops/minutes) allowed for each stop on the route appear in this column. If necessary, you can modify the amount in any of these fields (for this date only).

Available
The available volume (based on already scheduled deliveries/services) for all stops on this route appears in the ‘Avail’ column. These fields cannot be changed.

Driver/Tech1
The driver or technician assigned to this route appears in this field. You can modify this information if necessary.

NOTE: No programming is associated with this field. It is for informational purposes only.

Driver/Tech 2
The second driver or technician assigned to this route appears in this field. You can modify this information if necessary.

Mileage Begin

Mileage End

The beginning and ending mileage for the route appears in this field. You can modify it if necessary.

NOTE: No programming is associated with this field. It is for informational purposes only.

Stops Recap Tab

This tab breaks down the Volume, Stop, Maximum, and Available information from the top of the screen into First AM/First PM/Late/Other stops (if you are using this feature). If you are not using First AM/First PM/Late stops, a summary of this information appears on a single line.

Comments Tab

View All
Check this radio button to view comments that were manually entered and comments that were created by the system.

REMEMBER: Each time a change is made to a stop, the system records the change as a comment.

View Manual
Check this radio button to only view comments that were manually entered.

Show Who/When comments created
Check this box to view the comment’s timestamp, along with the employee number of the person who made the stop change or entered the comment.

Buttons

Enter New Comment
Click this button to add a new comment for this stop change.

Update
Click this button (on the main screen or on the Add Comment window) to save any changes that you made.

Print
Click this button to print the information on the screen (including comments) to a physical printer or spooler.
