How To: Changing the Driver/Tech Assignment (21-90-22)

This tutorial describes how to change the driver/tech assignment.

  1. Click on a route line.

  1. The Route Driver/Tech Assignments window opens.
    NOTE: The ‘Route,’ ‘Desc’ ‘Driver 1’ and ‘Driver 2’ fields cannot be changed.

  1. Navigate to the ‘New Driver/Tech 1’ field and enter the Employee Number of the driver/tech that will replacing the driver/tech assigned to the route.

  1. If applicable, in the ‘New Driver/Tech 2’ field, enter the second driver/tech that will be replacing the driver/tech assigned to the route.

  1. In the ‘From Date’ field, enter the starting date for the replacement driver(s)/tech(s). To start with the first Schedule Header date on file, leave the field blank.

  1. In the ‘To Date’ field, enter the ending date for the replacement driver(s)/tech(s). To end with the last Scheduler Header date on file, leave the field blank.

  1. Click Update. The changes can be viewed in the Schedule Header Days selections, as described in the overview of this section.
