The following are errors and messages that you might encounter when using the Customer Master Inq/Maint selection.

Cannot Continue – Header No longer In Active File – Change(s) Disallowed. Record Has Been Changed By Another Terminal Since Display
This Customer Number was modified by another partition while on display here.

Change(s) Disallowed. Record Has Been Changed By Another Terminal Since Display
This Customer Number was modified by another terminal after being displayed here.

Delete Disallowed. Master Record Is Still In Use In The System
The Customer Master record is linked to document(s) in one or more of the following areas: A/R Open, Credit Card Authorization, Extended Warranty, Installment A/R, Order Processing, Revolving A/R, Rental Processing, Transaction Processing, or Service Dept Automation.

Delete Disallowed. Purchase History Is Attached To The Master Record. Evaluate & Delete In 6-1 Only
The Customer has Customer History purchases on file. Run ‘Cust. Hist. Entry/Maint’ on the Customer History menu to examine these purchases and, if needed, delete the Customer number.

This Change Will Not Affect Customer Service Files. (A)bort Change or (C)ontinue
The system has determined that you have not licensed Service Dept Automation. Enter an “A” to abort this change and contact Tyler Support for assistance in installing this option correctly. Enter a “C” to continue if the system is correct and you have not licensed this option.

Unable to Activate Merge in Background
Displays when merging a Customer # into a new Customer # and there is no background available. This selection cannot continue unless a background partition is available. When a background partition becomes available, press the Tab key to try again.
