Introduction: Bulk Pick (RF-02-01)

Overview

This selection is used to pick items for transfer.

Before physically picking items with the RF scanner, you need to print the Picking Sheets using the Transfer Picking Sheets (03-11-10) selection.

IMPORTANT: Even though this selection is titled ‘Bulk Picking,’ (which is used when the Outbound branch on a transfer is a locator branch), it is also used for picking from non-locator branches (Standard Picking) when the GUI version of the Picking Sheets selection is used to print the picking sheets.

Special Notes

  • This selection does not need to be run if the Outbound branch on the transfer is non-locator branch and you printed the picking sheets with the Non-GUI version of the Picking Sheets selection.
  • This selection does not affect item quantities or the status of the order. Please see the When are Quantities Affected section of this document for more information.
