Playlist: New Hire Training
I would love to tell you that I created some awesome YouTube playlist containing obscure tracks from a 90’s grunge band, or even one that highlights the sappiest ballads of the 1980s. Unfortunately, you won’t find either one of those here. But keep reading and I bet you’ll find something useful.
If you’ve visited this website over the past few years, you know that we’ve been steadily building a library of Tyler video tutorials. Some cover simple processes like Inquiring on a Sales Ticket, and others delve deeper, as with our Month End Close.
We’ve focused mainly on Point of Sale, Order Processing, and Sales Transactions, because those seem to be the most helpful to you, our clients. And up until now, we’ve only organized the content by application.
In an attempt to make our content more useful, we’ve created our first playlist: Salesperson New Hire Training. This playlist contains 24 videos that will help new salespeople learn the Tyler system.
How Do I View the Playlist?
- Click Play on the video below or watch the videos on YouTube (recommended).
- When the video opens on the YouTube site, you will see all videos in the playlist on the right.
- You can view a specific video by clicking on it in the playlist, or view all videos by just letting them play in order.
Can’t I Just Create My Own Playlist?
If you have a YouTube account, you can definitely create your own playlist. However, since most of our tutorials are ‘Unlisted,’ and not Public, it might be easier for us to help you with that.
I Don’t Understand this YouTube Thing
If you’re not comfortable viewing videos on YouTube, check out this help page. It covers, in a very simple fashion, everything you need to know.
Did I Leave Anything Out?
As always, if I left something out or you are still confused, please take a minute to let me know!
can notes be added to the order?
Yes. You can add notes to a transaction on the ‘Instruction’ tab of the Point of Sale (02-02) screen. If it is a DD or SO transaction, you can also add/change notes in Order Maintenance (02-08-02).
