Tyler/DispatchTrack Integration
The Tyler system easily integrates with DispatchTrack. With just a few steps you can use DispatchTrack to schedule delivery of orders or service calls created in Tyler.
- In Order Upload: Tyler to DispatchTrack (02-08-12-05), create the file containing Tyler order/work order information and email it to DispatchTrack.
- Process the deliveries using your company’s DispatchTrack delivery procedures.
- DispatchTrack creates a file that contains information about orders that were successfully routes and/or delivered.
- Using Order Download: DispatchTrack to Tyler (02-08-12-06), move the file created by DispatchTrack in Step 3 to Tyler. The data can be updated to the Tyler Order Processing Header File and/or saved to a side file that uses the data for sorting purposes.
When Should I Run the Tyler/DispatchTrack Interface Process?
The decision of when to run Tyler/DispatchTrack Interface Process is dependent on your company’s shipping and delivery procedures:
- If you use Packing Sheets as the delivery receipt and you want the orders to print on the Packing Sheets in DispatchTrack Route and DispatchTrack Stop order, you should complete the Tyler/DispatchTrack interface process before printing your Picking/Packing Sheets (02-08-10).
- If you use the Standard/Long Method Invoice as you delivery receipt, you should first print your Picking/Packing Sheets and then run Order Check-Out (02-08-11). Once the orders are checked out, run the Tyler/DispatchTrack Interface Process. Finally, when the process is run to completion, print the Standard/Long Method Invoices (02-08-13).
