How To: Uploading the Bottom Text File to Your System – Different (02-18-15)
Overview
This tutorial describes how to upload the bottom text spreadsheet file when using different bottom text for each branch/region.
Once you have created the bottom text file, you need to upload it to your Tyler directory using this selection (02-18-15).

Step-by-Step
- Click the ‘Folder’ icon at the top of the screen.
- The Select File to Import window appears. Select the location of the bottom text file on your computer.
- Click Open. The file path appears at the top of the screen.
REMEMBER: The path to the file must be 52 characters or less or the import will fail. For example, use ‘C:\Tyler Bottom Invoices\tp1_bottom.txt’ instead of something like ‘C:\Documents and Settings\User1\My Documents\Tyler Invoices\tp1_bottom.txt’).
- Click the Preview File button to preview the bottom text in a new window (optional).
- Click the Load File button.
- The file is uploaded to your system and the bottom text appears in the ‘Existing Entries’ section of the screen.
NOTE: You cannot delete existing entries. If you need to change the bottom text file after upload, simply make changes to the spreadsheet and re-upload it using steps 1-4. As long as the filename hasn’t changed, the existing bottom text is completely replaced with the new bottom text and these modifications are reflected on the invoice the next time it is printed.
