NewsFlash #90

To All Clients Submitting Warranty Claims through Service Power:

GE Claims

Service contract #: Tyler Net will be issuing a new program that will eliminate this field from being populated causing past issues. Tyler Net will send a broadcast newsflash to update all clients as soon as this program is changed.

Line item Rejection: Collectively Tyler Net and Service Power have determined that there are no issues with either software causing claims to Zero Line items.

GE is declining reimbursement on certain part numbers without rejecting the whole claim.

Please check directly with GE on the reason.

Bosch

Tyler Net has verified that Tyler Net Defect & Repair codes selection 07-20 & 07-26 work for Bosch call/fault codes.

If you use Bosch’s valid call/fault codes from Bosch’s website in our defect & repair code fields on a work order the upload doeswork. Another Tyler Net client has verified this.

Electrolux/Frigidaire

When Electrolux switched to service power, they also added new data to theirrequirements. The only known issue we have is this:

Electrolux/Frigidaire now requires separation of dates when a customer makes an initial call versus when the tech actually goes out.

Date called in versus date started job.

What must be done is that after claims are uploaded you have to go into the Service Power website and manually add a date started to each claim.

As a suggestion for personal reference only use the PROBLEM AREA to reference Date Started. This does not change the need to go to the website and enter the START DATE!
